Samantha Mohr

Her first time competing in a pageant was at the recommendation of one of her fellow UGA students, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. This win meant that Mohr qualified for to compete in Miss Georgia pageant which was held in June of 1985. Mohr won the competition on June 22, 1985. Mohr took home over $3500 in scholarships and other prize money at the pageant for the state. The Miss Georgia was a part of her. Georgia and also made appearances in public across Georgia as part of her tasks. Mohr participated as Georgia in Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September 1985. With computer models that accurately identified the possibility that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were set at 22 to 1. Mohr wasn't a top 10 finalist to win the national crown. Mohr's time in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she was crowned as her successor, Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28 in 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
